Luxembourg - Public finance


The budget of the Luxembourg government is presented to the Chamber of Deputies late in each calendar year and becomes effective the following year. Government finances are generally strong, and budgets are usually in surplusS

The US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) estimates that in 2002 Luxembourg's central government took in revenues of approximately $5.5 billion and had expenditures of $5.5 billion including capital expenditures of $760 million.
